Part 10 - When The World Comes Apart
What happens when the world feels like it is coming apart at the seams? Revelation chapter 6 pulls back the curtain on a future that is both sobering and clarifying. As we walk through the opening of the seven seals, we encounter four horsemen representing conquest, war, famine, and death. These are not symbols meant to paralyze us with fear but rather a fire alarm meant to wake us up and move us to action. The central question Revelation 6 places before us is not merely academic. It is deeply personal. If judgment is coming, are we ready? Are the people we love ready? Against the backdrop of these coming upheavals, we are reminded that the Lamb seated on the throne is not wringing his hands. He is completely in control, and his word tells us these things in advance precisely so we can be prepared. The spiritual lesson here is one of urgency without panic, of awareness without despair. Biblical prophecy is never given simply to satisfy our curiosity about the future. It is given to shape how we live today.
